I base myself out of Bar Harbor, Maine and surrounding areas, but I am always up for an adventure if you're not from around here!
Yes!!! I absolutely love traveling to new places and I am always looking for an excuse to hop on a plane or take off on a road trip. I waive the travel fee for many out of state weddings so I can cross some places off my bucket list!
Only for family formals! I will provide you with a shot list prior to your wedding to make family portraits an organized, easy-flowing process. I don't use a shot list for any other parts of the day. I know my "go-to" shots, plus it allows me to create freely and capture those real moments throughout the day!
As soon as possible! All dates are first come, first serve so it is never too early to reach out!!
You can get started by filling out my contact form and give me all the deets about your day! I will then respond with my package options and offer for us to set up a time to chat on the phone to answer questions and get to know each other a bit. If it seems like we're a good fit for each other, I will send over a contract and invoice for you to fill out and submit digitally. I just need a signed contract and 40% non-refundable deposit to reserve your date! You can read more about the full experience here!
I carefully select my second shooters based on their skill level, experience, gear, and availability. I choose somebody who has a similar shooting style, upbeat personality, and is willing to conform their style to align with mine, and how I represent my business.
It's not required, but I highly recommend it! Not only does it give us a chance to meet and get to know each other a little bit, but it gives you some experience in front of my camera so you can get a feel for how I typically shoot, pose, and handle lighting. It’s basically a practice round that will make you feel so much more comfortable with me during your wedding portraits! Plus, you’ll get some awesome new photos!
I carefully select the best photos to include in your gallery and edit them on the bright side of natural. I love my photos to have a bright, warm, colorful feel without straying far from their natural color. I do minor retouching to formal portraits when necessary (to remove noticeable stains, blemishes, bruises, etc.), but I do not make changes to anything that will still be there in a few days.
I will email an online gallery link to you so that you can view, share, download, and order prints of your photos. You can expect your wedding photos back with 1-2 months and your engagement photos with 4-6 weeks of your session.
I do! I am happy to provide proof of insurance to venues that request it.
