I low-key squealed with excitement when I saw the Zimmerman family show up in these outfits. So many cute little details and accessories, yet still coordinating so perfectly!!! The weather, however, was not so perfect. There were off and on rain showers throughout the day, but this was the only day that our schedules lined up while they were vacationing in Bar Harbor. So, we waited out the rain a bit, and snuck in some INCREDIBLE family portraits in between rain showers. And it was soooo worth it. The fog and hazy sky made for some super cool photos on the rocky shoreline in Acadia National Park. This fam absolutely killed this session – check out their adorable outfits…oh, and the Bar Harbor Whale Watch boat appeared at just the right time to get in the back of a photo.

They had to ditch their big wedding plans due to the pandemic, but that didn’t stop them from celebrating their love! Carlen and Mike didn’t want to deal with the hassle of rescheduling their wedding so they invited their immediate family to join them as they said “I do” in their favorite spot – Boothbay, Maine.
They rented a house on the water in Midcoast Maine that had the perfect spot for setting up a ceremony, watching the sunset on the water, and having a family style dinner on the porch. All of the details and the little touches of Maine, tied together perfectly for this heartfelt summer micro-wedding!

I had never really heard much about Utah, up until the past couple of years – I kept seeing more and more photos of different places there. With each photo that I saw, I grew more and more of an interest to visit there. Needless to say, it quickly made it’s way to the top of my bucket list!
When I realized that my trip to Colorado was going to be a little bit longer than expected, I immediately knew that I had to use that extra time to take the drive to Utah. I also immediately knew that I needed to reach out to this couple to see if they would model for me! I didn’t care where, as long as I got to shoot somewhere in the Utah beauty. I had been following Caileb on instagram for the past year or so. I always loved seeing his creative videos come up on my feed, usually with his gorgeous wife involved. They seemed like such a fun-loving, adventurous couple – so I just put myself out there and asked. Sure enough, they agreed, and they certainly did not disappoint. We met for the first time while I was staying in Moab. They took me to this super cool double arch in Arches National Park. We immediately connected, had such a great time shooting together, and they even took me out for pasta afterwards. Does it really get much better than that?! I don’t think so.
It’s so crazy that social media helped bring this all together and form a new friendship!
