There’s something magnetic about a wedding that leans into color. Not just soft blush or muted sage, but a full expression of personality through the palette itself. Each hue had its moment — from the citrus tones tucked into bouquets to the pastel blue ribbons fluttering in the breeze. Textured blooms layered with movement and shape — dahlias, zinnias, and wild greenery that gave everything a feeling of life and spontaneity. It wasn’t polished to perfection, and that’s what made it beautiful. The arrangements mirrored the mood of the day: playful, heartfelt, and completely intentional.

Not only can you incorporate color into your wedding day decor, you can also double down on the color story and assign a matching dress code for your guests! Include color swatches on your wedding website for guests to wear. Guests arrived in bright solids and colorful patterns, echoing the palette in their own way. Every corner of the space felt like a celebration of light and color. Guests understood the assignment arriving in chartreuse, vibrant oranges, reds and pinks, bright purples and blues.
Color becomes connection
What I loved most was how color became connection. It set the tone for laughter that came easily and hugs that lingered a little longer. When I look back through these images, what stands out isn’t only the bold palette but the feeling behind it — warmth, welcome, and an easy kind of happiness that color seems to bring forward.
